Detailed session description
This is an interactive, experiential session, built with visually dynamic slides and Q&A woven throughout, and designed to be immediately accessible to everyone in the room.
Will opens by naming the world we're all living in: The Attention Economy. He makes the case that there is a battle for our attention happening every single day, and most of us are losing it, whether we realize it or not. He grounds the entire session with a single, undeniable truth: "Without the ability to focus on what matters, everything is compromised."
Will intentionally crafts this virtual classroom into a shared experience, making clear that the battle for attention is a collective struggle that we all endure. Through this common humanity, participants move from guilt and isolation to something far more powerful: the recognition that we're all in this together.
Then we start working toward solutions. Will lays a foundation by teaching the biology of focus, showing his students that we are hardwired for distraction and that we all have a choice in how we want to show up.
Keeping it fun, visual, and grounded in neuroscience, Will explains how the modern world keeps the brain locked in survival mode rather than in high-performance mode, and what this means for decision-making, creativity, relationships, and leadership presence.
The session then shifts into its first experiential moment. Will guides the entire group through a live nervous system reset — a movement, breathwork, and mindset practice that shifts participants from reactive and emotional to responsive and reflexive.
Will goes on to introduce 3 easily repeatable focus habits that require no apps, no retreats, and no personality change: The S.T.O.P. Technique (the pre-task pause) — used before every meeting or new encounter to ground and set a single focus anchor; the Pomodoro Method — the simplest and most effective task-oriented time-blocking tool; and third — how the environment they work in directly impacts their attention and daily success.
"Change your relationship to your tech" is Will's closer, in which he offers practical tips and strategies for everyone to build a new, healthier relationship with their technology.
The session rounds out with a final Q&A, ensuring that all participants leave with a new source of confidence and an inspiring path forward.
This is a performance training session with measurable outcomes — and your team will feel the difference before they log off.
